One of our top selling product categories is artillery shells. Eyes begin to widen, and customers start turning over the artillery shell kits and reading and watching the effects, they see the bright colors and wonder what makes each artillery shell kit unique. Artillery shell kits typically come with one to four tubes and have six, 12 or 24 shots. Sometimes with double or triple breaks, meaning one shell can burst multiple times in the air.
When shopping for artillery shells, you will see two types of shells — canister shells and ball shells. Here is a list of the various ammunitions used in the war. The main division is between shot did not carry its own explosive charge and shell carried an explosive charge. For shot: 1. The cylinder disintegrated when the gun was fired. Presumably the bolt broke when the gun fired allowing the shot to scatter.
For what it is worth, I have mixed canister and round shells in racks as both a starting and ending a show "sky puke" and the crowd seems to love it. But then again this is a neighborhood show and folks are just having a good time and are definitely not "pyro critics". Since they are observing for free, I will keep on doing it that way. If they want something better , then they can hire a 1. LOL Bottom line, do what you want forget the critics.
If you ask me, I'll take ball shells over canisters any day. Canisters do have more composition by virtue of their larger internal volume, they tend to be louder in both launch and break but the sloppy breaks are a big reason i choose balls. There are lots of good ball shells available in legit 1.
