What does inspired bag mean

Using "authentic" means it is not a replica or copy and it is not designer inspired but the actual item made by the designer and sold exclusively by the designer or licensed retailer and the customer doesn't have to worry about the item being fake.

Unfortunately on eBay, a lot of sellers use the word anyway, and buyer's buy under a falsehood, or fraud. Authentic is only used when the item is authentically designer. That is why Federal Law is so strict.

Federal Law stipulates that you can't sell fakes, replicas or anything that copies or infringes on the copyrights of the Intellectual property. If you are charged with selling a counterfeit and go before a judge, your defense can't be that you didn't know because it won't be accepted, it can't be.

Nothing with any copyrighted names or logos. And when listed there must be NO references to the designer the item is inspired by.

You can't even list an inspired bag and put "It looks just like Louis Vuitton" It's a rough rocky road selling designer goods but there are many people here willing to help you. We can give our opinions if something is authentic, we can direct you as to how to sell designer inspired and make things a little easier so your item isn't taken off by eBay and your account dinged.

Even more important we may help you sell authentic items so your customers won't get upset and get the authorities involved. We would appreciate actually seeing your Inspired bag in photos posted here, and in that way we can see exactly what you are describing.

I'm Sorry!! That's how I posted my purse. I will add a photo. If it does, its counterfeit and illegal. If it doesnt, its "designer-inspired" but like other posters have said you cant use the designer name anywhere in the listing and you sure cant call it "authentic".

Theres no such thing as "authentic designer inspired". And DONT call it a replica. To many of us, replica is another word for FAKE. A replica is a copy and unauthorized copies of any name-brand trademarked items are illegal. You're right. I do have a possible solution to offer. Most of the fakes I've seen with those bogus plaques have no other labeling or markings with brand names.

Usually, the plaque will pry off as it's attached with prongs similar to a staple and if so, you can sell the no-name bag as a generic bag. The bag in question is an 'inspired-by' AW Rocco. As well as the authentic, I have a French faux-leather version with only four studs on the base and some other design differences. The one I'm waiting for is also faux leather but has more studs on the base.

Unlike the other two it has no shoulder strap. I have no probs whatsoever with owning or carrying these 'Focco' bags. I'm sure other ladies here have them and enjoy them. I find faux-leather very light and hard-wearing. In fact bags like this, since they're perfectly legal, can have their own charisma.

People who buy those bags certainly know the difference and can make their own decisions. And yes, I still love my authentics! Compass Rose O. Jul 21, 13, 1, Southwest Florida. An inspired bag does not "fake" the logo of an original. Nothing wrong with an inspired bag. Most bags are "inspired" in some way or anoather.

Jun 17, 1, 3 columbia. No, it's not wrong to buy an inspired but but that one is actually the exact copy of Fendi Spy. I would still feel like carrying a knock-off, IMHO.

Jan 16, 55 0. I like some of Chanel designs but I won't bother spending that much money for something that one day I'll grow out of, so I'll take the inspired one without Chanel logo on it. I don't worry about the similarity because I think most authentic bags owner will be able to recognize that inspired bags aren't the same as the original, so, no worries.

I know where people are coming from when they say that some 'inspired-by' bags can skate on thin ice. Sign Up Now. All times are GMT The time now is PM. All rights reserved. Wholesale Forum. Discussions My Account. Members log in Username Password Remember Me?
